I'm Kristin, a designer, painter, problem-solver, and serial house-flipper who believes that a great space, and a great life, is always within reach.
How Scrappy Magical came to be
I've always been someone who makes things happen. I paint and refinish furniture, create murals and hand-lettered signs, and I've flipped more than 10 houses, handling everything from structural upgrades to interior design and the hundred small decisions that turn a house into a home.
Along the way I discovered that the skills that make a great renovation (vision, resourcefulness, an eye for what works) are the same ones that make a great shopping trip, a smooth move, or a brand identity that actually feels like you.
Scrappy Magical is the name I gave to all of it. Scrappy because I am resourceful and resilient. I find creative solutions with whatever's in front of me. Magical because the results genuinely surprise people ... including me sometimes.

I love problem-solving. Limited budget, weird layout, impossible timeline. These are puzzles waiting to be solved.
Enthusiasm is contagious
I bring genuine energy to every project. When you're excited about your space, your brand, or your next chapter, that excitement is fuel.

I've painted hundreds of pieces, designed dozens of spaces, and moved more times than I can count. That volume of experience means I've seen what works.
Shopping is a skill
Finding the right piece at the right price takes taste, patience, and a little obsession. I have all three.
